The Cyclone M4848 is a large-capacity media blasting cabinet designed for durability, efficiency, and ease of use. Proudly Made in the USA, this heavy-duty cabinet is built from welded 16-gauge steel to help prevent leaks while delivering long-lasting performance in demanding shop environments. With its spacious interior, dual side-access doors, and integrated turntable, the M4848 can easily accommodate and maneuver parts of various sizes.
Designed for operator convenience, the cabinet features large steel side doors on both the left and right sides for easy loading and access to workpieces. The included turntable makes repositioning parts simple during blasting, while the long rubber blast gloves allow users to comfortably reach throughout the cabinet without opening the doors. The M4848 also comes standard with a foot pedal-operated blast gun and a durable tungsten carbide nozzle for precise and reliable blasting performance.
To maintain visibility during operation, the M4848 includes the powerful DC-4000 dust collector, producing 400 CFM of airflow to help keep the blast chamber clear of dust and debris. The cabinet features an integrated light receptacle and master on/off switch that also controls the dust collector receptacle, allowing the entire system to be operated from one convenient location.
The M4848 media blasting cabinet is ideal for a wide range of applications including rust removal, paint stripping, glass etching, surface preparation, and general cleaning of metal parts. Its large work area and flexible design make it suitable for both small and oversized projects.
Compatible abrasive media includes white and brown aluminum oxide, glass beads, silicon carbide, and blasting garnet. Steel shot is not recommended, and sand should never be used in abrasive blasting cabinets due to the health risks associated with silica dust exposure.
