The Cyclone 4826 abrasive blast cabinet is built for users who want a fully assembled, leak-resistant sandblasting cabinet with professional-grade durability and functionality. Manufactured in Dowagiac, Michigan, the 4826 is constructed from heavy-duty 16-gauge welded steel for superior strength and reduced air and media leaks compared to bolt-together designs.
Unlike many cabinets that require extensive assembly, the 4826 arrives fully assembled and ready to use. Simply unbox the cabinet, connect your air supply, add abrasive media, and start blasting. The cabinet legs are welded directly to the body and built from 1/8" thick 2" x 2" angle iron for added stability and durability.
One of the standout features of the 4826 is its full top-opening design, allowing easier loading and unloading of large parts without lifting them over the front edge of the cabinet. A reinforced right-side access door provides additional convenience when adjusting or loading parts inside the chamber.
The spacious blasting chamber measures 48" wide, 26" high, and 26" deep, making it suitable for both small and larger projects. Comfortable 24" rubber blast gloves and oversized oval hand ports allow greater arm movement and improved comfort during extended blasting sessions.
The cabinet includes a trigger-operated blast gun with ceramic nozzle, spring-assisted lid system, built-in safety air shutoff valve, interior light, and integrated power receptacle system for controlling both the cabinet and included dust collector from one switch location. The included DC-1500 dust collector delivers 90 CFM to help maintain visibility inside the cabinet while filtering airborne dust and abrasive particles.
The Cyclone 4826 works with a variety of abrasive media including aluminum oxide, glass beads, silicon carbide, and blasting garnet. Steel shot is not recommended, and silica sand or any type of sand should never be used in the cabinet. Read more here to learn about the dangers of using sand in an abrasive blasting cabinet.
