The A4800 is a large-capacity sandblasting cabinet designed to handle a wide variety of projects while remaining budget friendly for shops and hobbyists alike. Built with a spacious blast chamber, dual reinforced side-access doors, and a powerful blasting system, the A4800 makes loading, blasting, and repositioning parts quick and convenient. The oversized side doors are constructed from heavy-duty steel and reinforced to minimize flex and help prevent leaks during operation.
For operator comfort and ease of use, the cabinet includes durable rubber blast gloves that allow you to reach throughout the interior without needing to open the doors to reposition parts. This helps maintain visibility and efficiency while blasting.
The A4800 also comes standard with the powerful DC-1500 sandblast dust collector. Producing 90 CFM of airflow, the dust collector helps maintain clear visibility inside the cabinet during operation. The system includes an integrated on/off switch and auxiliary receptacle, allowing both the cabinet and dust collector to be controlled from one convenient location. A 6-foot dust collector hose is included for simple connection between the cabinet and dust collector.
Compatible with a variety of abrasive media, the A4800 can be used with materials such as white or brown aluminum oxide, glass beads, silicon carbide, and blasting garnet. While many terms like bead blaster, media blaster, and sandblaster are often used interchangeably, they generally refer to the type of abrasive media being used rather than the cabinet itself. Steel shot is not recommended for this cabinet, and sand should never be used due to the serious health risks associated with silica dust exposure, including silicosis.
