Apex 5602190 Ramp Receivers
The 48" Lightweight Foam 4-Post Ramp Kit from APEX is a convenient hook-nose replacement for the heavy steel or aluminum ramps that came with your four-post lift. Each 48" ramp provides 5" of lift with a gentle 5.7-degree approach angle, making it much more accommodating for low-clearance cars and performance vehicles. Designed specifically for BendPak four-post lifts, these APEX ramps are lightweight, easy to handle, and far easier to use than bulky factory ramps.
Four-post lifts are great. The factory ramps that come with them usually are not. They’re heavy, awkward, and just steep enough to make loading low cars feel sketchy or frustrating. The 48" Lightweight Foam 4-Post Ramp Kit from APEX is built to fix that—for good.
Designed specifically for BendPak HD-9 and HD-7 series lifts, this kit replaces the stock steel or aluminum ramps with a lightweight, hook-nose foam alternative that locks in just like the originals but handles completely differently. Each ramp delivers a smooth 5.7-degree approach angle and 5 inches of lift, making it far more forgiving for low-clearance and performance vehicles.
Best of all, these ramps are light enough for one person to remove, hang, and reinstall without fighting the weight. Once you switch to APEX, going back to factory ramps feels like a step backwards.
These four-post lift race car ramps are engineered specifically for BendPak HD-9 and HD-7 series lifts that use removable drive-on ramps. The hook-nose geometry, ramp profile, and engagement points are precisely matched to the ramp receivers on these models, ensuring a secure, repeatable fit every time.
This kit is not intended or approved for use on other lift brands or models, even if the ramp pockets appear similar. Always confirm your lift is part of the BendPak HD-9 or HD-7 family before installation.
Not every shop or garage needs a 96-inch ramp. The 48" Lightweight Foam 4-Post Ramp Kit is built for users who want faster loading, easier handling, and a more compact footprint—without sacrificing approach angle.
At 48 inches long with 5 inches of lift and a 5.7-degree approach angle, these ramps are ideal for standard ride-height vehicles, performance cars, and many mildly lowered setups. Compared to typical factory steel ramps, the angle is noticeably more forgiving, reducing the risk of scraping front lips, splitters, and long overhangs. For everyday service work, oil changes, inspections, and detailing, this setup hits the perfect balance between usability and efficiency.
Many foam ramps cut corners by attaching a simple plate to the front of a foam block and relying on coating to hold it together. It may look right at first, but it rarely holds up under real-world use. APEX takes a different approach.
Each ramp features a precision-formed internal reinforcement with an S-shaped contour that extends deep into the structural foam core. This reinforcement is mechanically anchored before the entire assembly is encapsulated in durable polyurea. The result is a hook nose that functions as an integrated part of the ramp—not an add-on. It won’t peel, flex away, or depend on surface coating to stay intact.

At the core of every APEX ramp is a proprietary high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS) structure. This is a true solid-core design—not a hollow shell. The material is molded into a dense, tightly compacted form that can support thousands of pounds while remaining light enough for easy handling.
Unlike steel, EPS will not rust, transfer heat, or absorb water and oil. Unlike hollow plastic ramps, it won’t flex, collapse, or feel unstable under load. The closed-cell structure also provides natural vibration damping, which is better for both the tire and the surface beneath the ramp.
The EPS core is fully encapsulated in a high-performance polyurea elastomer coating. This coating is chemically bonded to the foam, forming a durable yet flexible outer shell that resists abrasion, impact, and exposure to common automotive fluids.
The micro-textured surface delivers real traction under the tire and at the floor interface, helping keep the ramp firmly in place during drive-on use—even on smooth concrete or epoxy-coated floors. No sliding, no repositioning, and no need for extra mats.
The biggest day-to-day advantage of APEX four-post ramps is the weight. Steel ramps are a hassle. Even aluminum ramps become a burden when you're moving them multiple times a day. The 48" Lightweight Foam 4-Post Ramp Kit changes that completely.
With structural foam construction and integrated carry zones, each ramp is light enough for one person to move, hang, or reposition without strain. In a busy shop, that means faster workflow and less fatigue. In a home garage, it means setup is no longer something you avoid—you just move the ramp and get to work.
This kit is designed to solve a specific problem for a specific group of lifts. If your BendPak HD-9 or HD-7 four-post lift still relies on heavy, outdated steel ramps—and loading low vehicles feels like a gamble—this is the upgrade that fixes it.
The 48" Lightweight Foam 4-Post Ramp Kit gives HD-9 and HD-7 owners a professional-grade alternative that saves time, reduces strain, and improves the overall loading experience. Once you make the switch, going back to factory ramps won’t feel like an option.
