The Atlas® TC221 wheel clamp swing arm tire changer delivers professional-grade performance tailored for small commercial garages, ATV dealers, and motorcycle shops. Atlas® wheel clamp tire changers are specifically designed to change tires on both high-priced alloy wheels and steel wheels without causing any damage to the rim or tire. The powerful pneumatic bead breaker located on the side of the machine is built to break even the most stubborn and rusted beads cleanly and safely, protecting the rim from scratches or dents. The turntable jaws, which can be covered with the included 4 black plastic rim protectors, securely hold the rim without marring the surface. These jaws can be repositioned to three different positions along the slides of the turntable, allowing you to either increase or decrease the clamping range to accommodate the specific wheel you're servicing.
The TC221 is equipped with a 4-jaw internal/external wheel clamping system that provides exceptional flexibility. Whether you're working on passenger cars, light trucks, ATVs, or motorcycles, the adjustable jaw positions and optional flip adapters ensure a perfect fit. With outside locking rim clamp ranges from 9 3/4" to 23 1/4" and inside locking ranges from 11 5/8" to 25 1/4", this changer handles a wide variety of wheel sizes with ease. For ATV applications, the flip adapters allow clamping as small as 2 7/8", and for motorcycles, they extend the range up to 26 3/8".
The Atlas® TC221 comes equipped with everything you need to get started right away. The machine includes an inflator hose and gauge for convenient tire inflation directly at the changer (note: this model does not include a bead blaster). It also features an integrated oiler, filter, and regulator to ensure smooth, consistent operation and protect the internal pneumatic components. A built-in soap reservoir provides easy access to lubrication for stubborn beads, simplifying the tire mounting process and reducing strain on both the operator and the equipment.
Operating on 110V single-phase electrical power and requiring 90–110 PSI shop air (with a maximum inlet pressure not to exceed 140 PSI), the TC221 is easy to integrate into most shop environments.
