This flexibility gives shop owners the freedom to choose the installation method that best suits their facility layout, ceiling height, and workflow requirements.
For surface mount installations, the lift comes with approach ramps and all necessary mounting hardware included. Shops planning a flush mount installation can review the detailed pit dimensions to ensure proper preparation. The lowered height of just 11 1/2 inches minimizes the depth required for flush mounting, making installation feasible in a wider range of facilities. Once a vehicle is positioned on the Atlas® 12ASL alignment scissor lift, the optional Atlas® RJ-6 rolling jack can lift the vehicle off the runways to perform wheel service, tire replacement, and brake work without lowering the entire lift. This air-powered hydraulic rolling jack features telescoping arms that extend over the runways to access factory lift points safely and securely.
Welded rails on the inside of the runways are standard on all 12ASL lifts, allowing customers the option of incorporating the RJ-6 rolling jack system now or in the future. The rolling jacks include screw-out extensions and are compatible with optional stack-on truck adapters for lifting heavy-duty vehicles.
