Single Hydraulic Cylinder: Mounted underneath the runway for minimal exposure and maximum protection, the HD-9XW's industrial-grade hydraulic cylinder features a single-piece, pilot-fitted, machined steel piston with specially designed pressure-loaded U-cup piston seals and wear bands to virtually eliminate fluid bypass. The micro-smooth chrome rod is machined from high-yield, ground and polished C-1045/50 micro-alloy steel, plated to a minimum of .001" diametrically, ensuring superior operation and longevity. High-durometer, mechanically-loaded rod seals eliminate leakage, while a urethane rod wiper provides abrasion-resistant exclusion protection. The welded cylinder body exceeds ASTM specifications, and an integrated flow restrictor provides controlled descent in the event of an unexpected hose rupture.

Electric / Hydraulic Power System: The lift incorporates a maintenance-free electric hydraulic power system with conveniently located controls within easy reach. The motor operates on 220 VAC / 60 Hz / 1Ph power and produces just 45 dB of noise—quieter than normal conversation—for comfortable operation in any environment.

Multi-Position Safety Lock System

The HD-9XW is equipped with 15 multi-position adjustable safety locks spaced every 4 inches for precise, variable-height parking and service positioning. Automatic safety locks engage continuously as the lift rises, utilizing aircraft-quality stainless steel and aluminum pneumatic cylinders for reliable performance. A convenient push-button pneumatic control releases all four independent locks simultaneously—no manual disengagement required.

For added security, the HD-9XW features independent backup slack-cable safety latches in each column. Air Supply Required:
An air supply (minimum 30 psi / 3 CFM) is required for the safety-lock mechanisms to disengage. It is solely the responsibility of the end-user to provide, install, and maintain the air supply.

Large Base Plates: Each column rests on 10" × 12" base plates that provide a solid, stable foundation without requiring anchor bolts or special concrete work.

Durable Powder-Coat Finish: All HD-Series lifts are finished with BendPak's meticulous 10-step powder-coating process. Parts are sandblasted, washed in a 5-stage phosphate system, dried, and outgassed in a curing oven to prevent blemishes. After masking threaded holes and surfaces, parts are electrostatically coated and cured at 400°F for 45 minutes. The result is a high-quality, extremely durable finish that withstands harsh environmental and chemical conditions—far superior to "powder coat" claims from competitors.

Non-Skid Runway Surface: Runways feature a non-skid surface for secure vehicle positioning and safe operation. Removable approach ramps provide additional drive-under clearance when not in use, and longer approach ramps are designed to help load low ground-clearance vehicles with ease.

- Any failure that results from Purchaser’s abuse, neglect or failure to operate, maintain or service product in accordance with instructions provided in the owner’s manual(s) supplied
- And damage caused by overloading lift beyond rated capacity
- Items or service normally required to maintain the product, i.e. lubricants, oil, etc.
- Items considered general wear parts such as rubber pads, lifting cables, etc. unless wear or failure is a direct result of manufacturer defect due to material and/or workmanship
- Any component damaged in shipment or any failure caused by installing or operating lift under conditions not in accordance with installation and operation guidelines or damaged by contact with tools or surroundings
- Motor or pump failure caused by rain, excessive humidity, corrosive environments or other contaminants
- Rusted components due to improper maintenance or corrosive environments
- Cosmetic defects that do not interfere with product functionality
- Damage due to incorrect voltage or improper wiring
- Any incidental, indirect, or consequential loss, damage, or expense that may result from any defect, failure, or malfunction of BendPak Inc product
Responsibilities of Warrantor under this warranty: Repair or replace, at Warrantor’s option, component which is defective, has malfunctioned and/or failed to conform within duration of the warranty period. BendPak Inc. will pay reasonable labor costs for the first 12 months only
Responsibilities of Purchaser under this warranty:
- Provide dated proof of purchase and maintenance records
- In some cases, components may be required to be shipped to the nearest BendPak Authorized Service Center. Freight costs, after 12-months, must be borne by the Purchaser.
- Use reasonable care in the operation and maintenance of the products as described in the owner’s manual(s).
When Warrantor will perform repair or replacement under this warranty: Repair or replacement will be scheduled and serviced according to the normal work flow at the servicing location, and depending on the availability of replacement parts.

Limitation of Liability

In no event will either party be liable for any damage caused by the other party's failure to fulfill its responsibilities under these terms and conditions. In no event will either party be liable for any lost profits, lost savings, incidental damage, or other economic consequential damages. All expressed and implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the coverage period. No warranties, expressed or implied, will apply after this period. BendPak may modify these terms and conditions at any time by either providing the customer with written notice or posting such revised terms on www.bendpak.com. Such revised terms shall be effective thirty days from the date of such written notice or posting.
