The HD-9SW-E Extra-Wide is an industrial-strength lift that works equally well in the service shop and at home. Its unique super-wide design allows this lift to raise and store two vehicles simultaneously on four runways, while the shorter ramp design means that the lift fits in tighter shops and garages. When you add in all of the optional kits—including drip trays, solid decks, and 4,500-lb. rolling jacks—this becomes one extremely adaptable four-post parking solution.

The unique double-wide design of the HD-9SW-E lets you lift and store two vehicles simultaneously. It's like having two separate lifts, but it takes up much less space and costs far less. The 238" clear span between columns ensures there's no column interference, even when parking two full-size sedans or SUVs side-by-side.
Each runway is equipped with 19"-wide platforms and includes a rail kit for optional accessories such as drip trays, jack trays, and caster kits. The 37" or 42" adjustable width between runways accommodates vehicles with narrow or wide track widths, making this lift incredibly versatile.
At the heart of the HD-9SW-E is a proven electric/hydraulic power system featuring a single hydraulic cylinder mounted underneath the runway for minimal exposure and maximum reliability. This industrial-grade cylinder features a single-piece, pilot-fitted, machined steel piston wrapped with specially designed, pressure-loaded U-cup seals, backups, and wear bands to virtually eliminate fluid bypass.
The micro-smooth chrome rod is machined from high-yield, ground and polished C-1045/50 micro-alloy steel and plated to a minimum of .001" diametrically, ensuring superior cylinder operation and longevity. An integrated flow restrictor provides controlled descent in the unlikely event of an unexpected hose rupture, adding an extra layer of safety.
Each HD-9SW-E is supplied with four high-quality, stainless steel lifting cables, each rated at 14,400 lbs. The combined rating of these cables is an astounding 640% of the maximum lifting capacity of the entire lift! These 3/8" aircraft-quality cables provide the perfect balance of strength, abrasion resistance, and fatigue life.
All lifting cables are fully enclosed within the lift structure, keeping them protected from dirt, debris, and accidental damage. Oversized self-lubricating cable rollers and oversized sheave diameters reduce cable fatigue and extend service life. Every sheave and sheave axle features grease nipples, making routine lubrication maintenance a breeze.
The HD-9SW-E is equipped with 14 multi-position locking positions spaced every 4 inches for variable-height parking and service work. A convenient push-button pneumatic safety lock control releases all four independent safety locks simultaneously, allowing smooth and effortless height adjustments.
The spring-loaded safety locks automatically engage continuously as the lift is raised. For added peace of mind, a secondary lock system acts as a backup slack-cable device to engage in the unlikely event of cable failure. These aircraft-quality stainless steel and aluminum pneumatic cylinders deliver years of reliable, maintenance-free operation.
Air Supply Required: An air supply with a minimum of 30 psi / 3 CFM is required for the safety-lock mechanisms to disengage. It is solely the responsibility of the end-user to provide, install, and maintain the air supply.
BendPak insists on using dual-hub cable sheaves, even though they cost more to manufacture. This design reduces stress and fatigue on the axles, sheaves, and cables—delivering years of trouble-free service. Combined with rugged 1.25" roller axles and oversized self-lubricating cable rollers, the HD-9SW-E is built to withstand decades of heavy use.

All HD-Series lifts feature a durable powder-coat finish in a sleek new gray color that gives the metal a high-quality, extremely durable finish which can withstand even the harshest environmental or chemical conditions. Unlike other companies that claim to powder coat, BendPak takes pride in a meticulous 10-step process.
First, all parts are visually inspected before being sandblasted. Afterwards, the parts are washed in a 5-stage phosphate tank that can accommodate parts up to 25 feet long. Once cleaned, they're immediately dried to avoid rust production, and then outgassed. Outgassing pre-bakes the parts in a curing oven, reducing the possibility of blemishes that may be hiding in the pores of the metal. If not properly outgassed, imperfections in the metal may bubble during the curing process and will likely cause chips in the powder.
After the parts are washed and outgassed, any surfaces and/or threaded holes that need to be masked or plugged are done so with high-temperature masking tape and silicone plugs. Next, the parts are given a quick thinner wipe to remove any light debris or fingerprints before being hung on an electrostatically grounded conveyor line. The powder is finally applied using an electrostatic spray gun—the powder "sticks" to the surface in a fashion similar to how dust sticks to a television screen. Once the parts are powder coated, the carts are rolled into the curing oven and baked at 400°F for 45 minutes. The result is a beautiful, chip-resistant finish that looks as good as it performs.
The HD-9SW-E features low-deck runways with a minimum runway height of just 7 inches, allowing you to accommodate even the lowest sports cars and exotics. The longer approach ramps are designed to help when loading low ground-clearance vehicles—it's the little bit that makes a big difference.
The approach ramps are also removable, providing additional drive-under clearance when needed. Optional drive-thru ramps are available for shops that require unobstructed front-to-back access.
Large 10" x 12" base plates provide a solid foundation for the HD-9SW-E, ensuring maximum stability even when fully loaded. The customizable power unit location allows you to tailor the lift installation to your specific shop or garage layout, providing maximum flexibility.
Lifting cables, airlines, safety latches, and sheaves are all fully enclosed within the lift structure, creating a clean, integrated design that protects critical components from damage. The runways feature a non-skid surface that provides sure footing and prevents slipping, even in wet or oily conditions.

A reversible design allows the trays to accommodate BendPak four-post lifts with the runways positioned either wide or narrow. These affordable, impact-resistant polypropylene drip trays are rugged and light, and help solve the common problem of potentially harmful drips.
Each tray comes with 56 articulated catches and gutters to restrain the fluid from sloshing out. So all that oil, coolant, and other muck stays neatly contained within individual compartments, even when carried or bumped. A smart, black color hides the appearance of stains and blemishes.
