The Challenger EW1020 is a professional-grade 10,000 lb. capacity ALI-certified inground hydraulic car lift engineered specifically for modern wide-bodied and electric vehicles. Integrating the Powerunit & Controls Under the Bench Changes
Due to the recent move to the DLH power units on the EW and EV Series inground lifts, the configuration for the cabinet door for bench mount levered controls will change. Please make sure that when using BML controls with ingrounds configuration change.

The Challenger EW1020 delivers 10,000 lbs. of lifting capacity with an industry-leading 118" overall width and 88" drive-through clearance. This extra-wide design is purpose-built for modern wide-bodied trucks, SUVs, and electric vehicles that exceed the dimensions of traditional lifts. The hydraulic inground design features a 78" rise height with a 72" stroke, providing ample working space underneath while keeping the lift profile low and unobtrusive.
With true 3-stage front and rear arms, the EW1020 offers exceptional versatility and reach. Each arm extends from 20" to 42", and each of the four arms can safely support 2,500 lbs. The double-telescoping screw pads adjust from 4" to 6.125" in height, allowing precise positioning on a wide variety of vehicle frame and lift point configurations. This is especially critical when servicing electric vehicles with battery packs or wide-bodied trucks with reinforced frames.
One of the standout advantages of the EW1020 is its simplified installation process. Unlike traditional inground lifts that require three separate concrete pours, the EW1020 only requires one concrete pour, significantly reducing installation time, labor, and costs. There is no bolster to drive over, making vehicle positioning easier and reducing the risk of undercarriage contact during drive-on.
The lift operates on a powerful 2HP motor (208v-230v, 60Hz, 1Ph) and requires 90-120 psi air supply. The EW1020 achieves full rise in just 41 seconds, maximizing shop efficiency and minimizing vehicle turnaround time. Bench-mounted controls are available as an optional upgrade, giving you flexibility in how you configure your workspace.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Challenger Lifts, Inc. (CLI) lifts are guaranteed to the original owner. CLI shall repair or replace, at CLI option, for the full warranty period those parts that prove upon inspection to be defective and pay for reasonable costs of transportation and/or labor for replacement of said parts for the warranty period stated below. This warranty shall not apply unless the product is installed, used and maintained according to CLI’s specifications set forth in CLI’s installation, operation, and maintenance instructions. Use of any unapproved parts or accessories will void your warranty. This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty is valid only if the product has been registered with Challenger Lifts, Inc., www.challengerlifts.com.
This warranty does not cover normal maintenance or adjustments, damage or malfunction caused by improper handling, installation, abuse, misuse, negligence, carelessness of operation, or normal wear and tear. In addition, this warranty does not cover equipment when repairs have been attempted or made by anyone other than a CLI authorized service representative.
This warranty is exclusive and is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, which implied warranties are expressly excluded. No employee, agent, representative, dealer or other person or entity is authorized to give any warranties of any nature on behalf of CLI.
The remedies described are exclusive and in no event shall CLI, Inc. be liable for special, consequential or incidental damages for the breach of or delay in performance of the warranty. This warranty shall be governed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the County of Jefferson.
Functional parts are considered the power units, cylinders, sheaves, sheave pins, hoses, hydraulic & pneumatic fittings, cables, adapters, latches, valves, and controls.
Structural parts are considered the carriage, columns, column extensions, overhead beams, arms, cross beams, runways, wheel stops, ramps, bolsters, sync rails, and plungers.
