The lift is equipped with 13 multi-level locking positions spaced every 4 inches, giving you flexible variable-height parking options for optimal under-vehicle access. A convenient pneumatic push-button safety lock control releases all four independent safety locks simultaneously, making height adjustments quick and effortless. For added security, independent backup slack-cable safety latches engage automatically in the unlikely event of cable failure, providing a redundant layer of protection.

Four heavy-duty 1/2" diameter stainless steel aircraft cables (6 x 25 construction) are rated at 14,400 lbs. each—giving the system a combined cable rating of over 411% of the lift's maximum capacity. This aircraft-quality cable is specifically engineered for lifting applications, offering an ideal balance of abrasion resistance and fatigue life. All lifting cables are fully enclosed within the lift structure, keeping them protected from debris and ensuring a clean, professional appearance.
Oversize dual-hub cable sheaves with a massive 10-1/2" diameter and 2-1/4" diameter sheave axles dramatically reduce cable wear and stress, extending the life of critical components and minimizing long-term maintenance costs. Dual-hub sheaves further reduce fatigue and improve reliability. Grease nipples are conveniently located on every sheave and sheave axle, making routine lubrication maintenance fast and easy.

Each cylinder features a single-piece, pilot-fitted, machined steel piston wrapped with specially designed pressure-loaded U-cup piston seals, backups, and wear bands to virtually eliminate fluid bypass. The micro-smooth chrome rod is machined from high-yield, ground, and polished C-1045/50 micro-alloy steel, plated to a minimum of .001" diametrically for superior operation and extended service life. High-durometer, mechanically-loaded rod seals eliminate leakage, while an abrasion-resistant urethane rod wiper provides exclusion protection. The welded cylinder body is made from robust steel tubing that exceeds ASTM specifications, ensuring the cylinders remain straight, smooth, and dependable for years. An integrated flow restrictor provides controlled descent in the unlikely event of a hose rupture, adding another layer of safety.
The HDSO-14P incorporates a maintenance-free electric hydraulic power system for ultimate dependability and trouble-free operation. Powered by a 220 VAC / 60 Hz / 1Ph motor, the system delivers consistent, reliable performance and operates at a whisper-quiet 45 dB noise level—ideal for busy shops. The lift raises to full height in just 60 seconds, with a maximum rise of 70 inches and a max lifting height of 77.625 inches. All controls are conveniently located within close reach for ease of operation.
Note: An air supply (minimum 30 psi / 3 CFM) is required for the safety-lock mechanisms to disengage. It is solely the responsibility of the end-user to provide, install, and maintain the air supply.
All BendPak HDSO-Series lifts feature a durable, high-quality powder-coat finish in a sleek new gray color. Unlike competitors that cut corners, BendPak takes pride in a meticulous 10-step powder coating process:
First, all parts are visually inspected and sandblasted. They're then washed in BendPak's 5-stage phosphate tanks (accommodating parts up to 25' long) and immediately dried to prevent rust. Next, parts are outgassed (pre-baked) in a curing oven to eliminate potential blemishes hidden in metal pores. After outgassing, threaded holes and surfaces are carefully masked with high-temperature tape and silicone plugs. A quick thinner wipe removes debris and fingerprints before parts are hung on an electrostatically grounded conveyor. The powder is applied using an electrostatic spray gun, "sticking" to the surface like dust on a TV screen. Finally, the parts are cured in a 400°F oven for 45 minutes, resulting in an extremely durable finish that withstands the harshest environmental and chemical conditions.
The runways feature a non-skid surface for maximum grip, even when wet or oily, and include an integrated rail-kit for optional accessories. The runways also adjust for different tread widths, making the lift versatile for any vehicle configuration.
Optional 7,000 lb. capacity rolling jacks (Model RJ-7) make an excellent addition to increase your service capacity. These bridge jacks raise the front or rear portion of a vehicle off the runways, enabling efficient wheel and brake service. Using a pair of jacks, you can elevate the entire vehicle for total undercarriage access. Each jack features telescoping arms and frame contact pads that extend over the runways and position under vehicle lifting points. Telescoping rail supports accommodate adjustable runways for different tread widths. Each jack includes three safety-lock positions and stackable truck/van adapters for increased lifting height and better access to frame contact points on high ground-clearance vehicles. The jacks come equipped with a commercial-grade air-hydraulic pump requiring 125 PSI maximum pressure and 10-20 CFM.
