The Challenger CL10A-XP9-DPC-QC represents the ultimate evolution in express service bay technology. This 9,000 lb. capacity 2-post lift combines Quick Cycle™ technology with an innovative drive-on pad design, dramatically improving throughput while maintaining the precision and safety standards that professionals demand. Whether you're running an express lube center, tire shop, or high-volume service facility, this ALI-certified lift delivers accurate first-try spotting that boosts productivity and eliminates frustration.
At the heart of this system is Quick Cycle™ technology, which reduces rise time to just 24 seconds and descent to 17 seconds—a 30% improvement over standard models. Combined with Dual Pendant Power Controls that provide unobstructed views of lift points from either column, you'll spot vehicles faster and work more efficiently than ever before. The drive-on express pad configuration means no more guessing, no more repositioning, and no more wasted minutes on every single vehicle.
Challenger engineered this lift for the real world: three width adjustment settings (from 11'6-1/2" to 11'11"), adjustable column heights to fit 12-foot ceilings or higher, and a low-profile 2.25" pad height that minimizes clearance issues with lowered or performance vehicles. Built in the USA with premium materials including an oversized 5" diameter pulley, heavy-duty 5/16" cable, and a 48" elongated carriage design, this lift is engineered for decades of reliable service in the most demanding environments.
Quick Cycle™ models dramatically improve lifting speed to achieve 24-second rise time and 17-second descent—a 30% reduction compared to standard models. This translates directly to increased bay utilization and higher revenue per hour. The system achieves this performance boost through an upgraded 3HP single-phase motor (versus 2HP in standard models) running on 208/230V, 60Hz power, delivering more torque and faster hydraulic actuation without sacrificing smoothness or control.
In express service environments where every minute counts, Quick Cycle™ technology can mean the difference between completing six jobs per hour versus eight. Over the course of a year, that efficiency gain adds up to thousands of additional services—and significantly increased profitability—while reducing technician fatigue and customer wait times.
The Dual Pendant Power Control system redefines operator convenience and safety. With control stations mounted on both columns, technicians always have immediate access to lift controls regardless of which side they're working from. This design provides an unobstructed view of lifting points during vehicle spotting, eliminating the guesswork and allowing for micro-adjustments without running around the vehicle.
Key Dual Pendant Features:
This dual-control architecture dramatically reduces vehicle spotting time while enhancing safety. Technicians maintain full visual contact with lift arms and vehicle contact points throughout the entire lifting cycle, catching potential issues before they become problems.
The CLXP9 Low Profile Express Service Pad is the defining feature that sets this lift apart for high-volume operations. Unlike traditional swing-arm configurations that require careful positioning and multiple attempts, the drive-on pad design allows vehicles to be driven directly onto 24" wide platforms with minimal fuss. The result? Accurate first-try spotting that slashes setup time and keeps your bays moving.
At just 2.25" in height, the low-profile pad design accommodates even lowered vehicles, sports cars, and performance models that might scrape or bottom out on taller ramps. The 58" / 66.5" / 75" platform length options and 31.5" width between platforms provide excellent coverage across a wide range of vehicle types, from compact sedans to full-size trucks.
Each CL10A-XP9-DPC-QC includes a complete set of spotting accessories:
This drive-on configuration is ideal for oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, alignments, and other express services where speed and repeatability are paramount. Your technicians will appreciate the reduced physical strain and mental load, while your bottom line will reflect the increased throughput.
Challenger didn't just design this lift for speed—they engineered it to last. Every component is built to withstand the rigors of daily commercial use in high-volume environments:
Oversized 5" diameter pulley and heavy-duty 5/16" cable reduce stress on the equalization system, extending cable life far beyond industry norms. This robust design ensures consistent, smooth operation even after tens of thousands of lift cycles.
The 48" elongated carriage design distributes load more evenly across the lift mechanism, reducing wear on individual components and significantly increasing overall lift life. This extended carriage design also improves stability during lifting and lowering operations, particularly with heavier vehicles near the 9,000 lb. capacity limit.
A fully gusseted base plate design increases column rigidity and structural integrity, preventing flexing and maintaining precise alignment between columns over years of use. The pulley-less jacketed single-point lock release system eliminates a common failure point, making operation smoother, easier, and more reliable while extending service intervals.
Additional durability features include:
The CL10A-XP9-DPC-QC Series offers three column height configurations to accommodate virtually any facility ceiling height:
All models feature adjustable width from 11'6-1/2" to 11'11" with three distinct settings, allowing you to optimize the lift for your specific bay dimensions and vehicle mix. The 90" drive-thru clearance ensures plenty of room for technicians to work safely around raised vehicles.
Maximum specifications include a 74-1/8" (1908mm) rise height and 11'11" max extended cylinder height, providing ample working room underneath vehicles. The low lock height of 12" net rise allows for safe work at minimal elevation when full height isn't required.
Facility Requirements:
Bay Dimensions: 13'3" or 13'9" width × 14'3" or 14'9" depth (depending on configuration)
Ceiling Height: 12' minimum (standard model)
Electrical: Quick Cycle DPC: 3HP, Single Phase, 60Hz, 208/230V / Standard DPC: 2HP, Single Phase, 60Hz, 208/230V
This lift represents the intersection of speed, precision, and durability—three factors that define success in modern express service operations:
