The included PL330 Power Assist Tower is a pneumatic helper arm specifically engineered for use with the Talyn Plus 1 series and Nationwide 950 tire changers. This essential accessory transforms your tire changer's capabilities, enabling your shop to confidently tackle stiff sidewalls, low-profile performance tires, and run-flat tires that would otherwise require excessive manual force or risk damage.
The PL330 installs on the left side of the machine body at floor level, secured with three fixture bolts inside the cabinet and two additional fixture bolts on the machine's left side using preserved installation holes. The adjustable tire pressing block can be raised or lowered by turning the adjustment mechanism, allowing it to work at the center of the wheel to push down during outside clamping procedures.
Operating at a working pressure of 116-145 PSI and producing less than 75dB of noise, the PL330 provides powerful assistance without creating a disruptive work environment. With a shipping weight of 240 lbs, the assist tower is substantial enough to deliver stable, consistent performance while remaining manageable for installation.
Important Note: When adding the PL330 helping arm, the maximum tire size is reduced to a comfortable 44 inches to ensure optimal clearance and safe operation. This still covers the vast majority of passenger car and light truck applications.

Limited One-Year Warranty:
Talyn offers a limited one-year warranty to the original purchaser of wheel service equipment in the United States and Canada. Talyn will replace, without charge, any part found defective in materials or workmanship under normal use, for a period of one year after purchase. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping charges. This warranty does not apply to equipment that has been improperly installed or altered or that has not been operated or maintained according to specifications.

Upon delivery of goods, the Customer has sole responsibility to notify Best Buy Auto Equipment of missing parts or concealed damage within 72 hours of receipt. If no notification of missing parts or of concealed damage is made, all parts will be purchased after 72 hours has passed.
Upon receipt, the customer must visually inspect the equipment for any potential freight damage before signing clear on the shipping receipt. Freight damage is not considered a warranty issue and therefore must be noted for any potential recovery with the shipping company.
The customer is required to notify Best Buy Auto Equipment of any missing parts within 72 hours. Timely notification must be received to be covered under warranty.
Talyn will replace any defective part under warranty at no charge as soon as such parts become available from the manufacturer. No guarantee is given as to the immediate availability of replacement parts.
Talyn reserves the right to make improvements and/or design changes to its without any obligation to previously sold, assembled or fabricated equipment.
There is no other express warranty on the Nationwide wheel service equipment and this warranty is exclusive of and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Nationwide shall not be liable for loss of use, cost of cover, lost profits, inconvenience, lost time, commercial loss or other incidental or consequential damages.
This Limited Warranty is granted to the original purchaser only and is not transferable or assignable.
Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of consequential damages or how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which may vary from state to state.
