The R980DP-L features a rigid fixed swing-arm tower design with double assist towers as standard equipment, giving you the leverage needed for the toughest tire jobs. The four-clamp internal/external clamping system powered by dual pneumatic cylinders ensures secure, centered wheel positioning during service. A pneumatic blade bead breaker with dual settings handles a wide range of tire widths, from 1.5" to 13" for demounting and 4" to 15" on the turntable. Accommodate rim diameters from 9" to 30" internally and 9" to 26" externally, with a maximum tire diameter capacity of 50 inches.
Standard equipment includes a regulator/filter and oiler/lubricator, water filter, breaker bar, large soap/lubricator bucket with brush, mount/demount head, bead lifting tool, and a turbo blast bead seating system for stubborn beads. Tool tray and bin storage keep your workspace organized, while easy-access pedal controls let you operate the machine without taking your eyes off your work. An extremely fast dedicated hyper transport protocol allows data to communicate with the micro-processor at much faster speeds. The DST-2420 uses highly precise dual-component piezoelectric quartz load sensors combined with a single digital rotation encoder that measure both longitudinal, transversal, and shear effects for multi-directional force unbalance detection. The piezoelectric force sensors used on the DST-2420 are very sensitive and offer long-term stability and freedom from fatigue for a service life that is virtually unlimited. The high-rigidity quartz crystal sensors result in very high frequency detection in all three directions of measurement.
Quick and Precise Set-Up: Multi-size center cones and a full rubber perimeter no-mar "Quick-Nut" bell adapter make mounting wheels fast and easy and minimize the risk of costly wheel damage.
Mounting Cone Package: The DST-2420 tooling package not only includes our standard car and light truck cones, but a heavy-duty truck cone and spacer ring as well. This well-equipped package includes three automotive and light truck cones (1.75" - 2.75", 2.75" - 3.50", and 3.50" - 4.25"), and one truck cone (4.50" - 5.00").

This Warranty is null and void if the customer or any other person other than an authorized representative of BendPak/Ranger has made any attempt to service or modify the tool prior to its return to BendPak/Ranger under this Warranty. In no event will either party be liable for any damage caused by the other party's failure to fulfill its responsibilities under these terms and conditions. In no event will either party be liable for any lost profits, lost savings, incidental damage, or other economic consequential damages BendPak/Ranger products are provided and sold as is without any express or implied warranties including warranties of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose.
