The EM9980C Plus utilizes advanced touchless laser sensors to eliminate manual measurement and guesswork. The EM9980C Plus goes beyond simple balancing with high-precision laser run-out measurement. The system measures both radial and lateral wheel run-out (1st harmonic and peak-to-peak) and calculates the best coupling of parts to resolve typical problems of road vibration. This diagnostic capability helps you identify bent wheels, damaged rims, and assembly issues that can cause customer comebacks — before the wheel leaves your shop.
The machine can handle a rim diameter setting range from 1.5" to 20" for distance settings and 1" to 35" for diameter input, with a measurement range of 11" to 32". With a maximum wheel diameter of 44" (1117 mm) with guard and maximum width of 23.6" (600 mm), this balancer is built to handle everything from compact car wheels to large truck and SUV applications.
The EM9980C Plus includes a special weight management program collection featuring a less weight function that saves time and counterweights. This intelligent optimization increases your shop's economic benefits while reducing environmental impact by minimizing counterweight usage. With a maximum unbalance value calculated of 35.3 oz (999g) and balancing speeds of 75-85-98 rpm, the machine delivers fast, accurate results with minimal material waste.

The patented space-saving wheel casing allows positioning of the balancer against the wall while still accommodating wheels with diameters up to 44" (1118 mm). The inclined front part improves operator access to the inside of the rim for easier cleaning and weight application. A rear splash guard with slots for additional accessories protects your shop while providing mounting points for optional tools and attachments.

General Terms
Corghi USA expressly warrants its products will be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for the time period specified. Corghi USA must be informed in writing within 7 days after discovery of a defect. Corghi USA reserves the right to repair or replace a product at our discretion. Consumable products and accessories such as but not limited to; plastic protection parts, bead breaker pads, inflation hoses, and rollers, are not covered under this warranty.
This warranty does not cover any damage resulting from abuse or failure to perform any necessary maintenance (i.e. damage due to or resulting from, faulty installation, neglect, misuse, improper electrical connections or electrical surges, problems resulting from excessive water, contaminated air system, or pollutant of any nature, fire or freight damage).

Corghi USA agreement to repair a tire changer or balancer is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express, implies or statutory, including any warranties for merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Corghi USA maximum liability shall be limited to the cost of the machine. In no event shall Corghi USA be responsible for owner’s lost profits, goodwill or other incidental or consequential damages. Corghi USA is not responsible for equipment or accessories damages in shipment. Freight claims are to be made directly with the carrier. We will be more than happy to assist you with any questions regarding filing claims.
