This center-post leverless tire changer easily adapts to ultra-low-profile tires, run-flat tires, special custom rims, everyday passenger car wheels, and even commercial light truck and industrial wheels up to 30". With its patented leverless mount/dismount system, integrated Bead Press System (BPS), and standard pneumatic wheel lift, the SM1100 is engineered to handle challenging tires while protecting expensive wheels and reducing operator fatigue. Its center-post twist lock clamping system secures virtually all wheels without damage, providing easy access from the bottom side without obscuring the work area. The SM1100 features a robust center-post twist lock clamping system that safely secures virtually all wheels without damage. This manual wheel locking system is equipped with a removable central fixing shaft able to lock rims from 12" to 30", accommodating a vast range of vehicle types. The center-post design provides easy access to the rim and tire from the bottom side without obscuring the work area, giving technicians unobstructed visibility and control throughout the tire changing process. A reverse wheel-clamping kit is included for added versatility.
At the heart of the SM1100 is the patented automatic leverless mounting/dismounting tool, complete with plastic protections and controlled by a dedicated joystick. This innovative system eliminates the need for traditional tire irons, drastically reducing the risk of damaging rims or tires. Thanks to the fast and repetitive automatic wheel dismounting procedure, technicians can work with confidence on high-value custom wheels, ultra-low-profile tires, and delicate finishes. The leverless mount head provides simple fingertip-activated demounting of high-performance low profile, stiff sidewall run flats, and commercial-use multi-ply tires up to 36" diameter and 12.5" wide.
The Bead Press System (BPS) comes standard on the SM1100 and greatly assists the operator in mounting stiff sidewall tires and difficult rims with deep drop centers. This independent floating bead presser is particularly recommended for Run-Flat and UHP (Ultra High Performance) tires. It is especially efficient on reverse rims thanks to the adjustable height of the tool, which can be easily reduced to match the application. The BPS takes the struggle out of mounting challenging modern tire designs, improving efficiency and reducing physical strain on technicians.
