The Challenger EV1020 EnviroLift™ represents the pinnacle of inground lift technology, combining 10,000 lb. capacity with superior arm sweep, increased rise height, and the widest drive-thru clearance in the industry. The chrome non-breathing ram style cylinder design extends lift life, while the 3-stage front and 3-stage rear arms provide the flexibility to reach lift points on a wide range of cars and trucks, from compact sedans to full-size pickups.
The EV1020's fully-contained, sealed recycled polymer cassette tub eliminates the risk of hydraulic fluid seeping into the ground—protecting your investment and the environment with no EPA concerns. The open, cassette-style design creates a professional showroom appearance, while the generous 87" drive-thru clearance accommodates wider vehicles, reduces tire damage, and makes drive-on positioning fast and easy.
The EV1020 now features a NEW increased rise height, giving technicians more under-car clearance and improving ergonomics. The stroke height has been increased from 68" to 72", while the rise height has grown from 74" to 78". This additional clearance allows technicians to work at comfortable, ergonomic heights—reducing fatigue, increasing productivity, and improving overall shop efficiency.
The mechanical lock engages every 3 inches, providing flexible working heights so technicians can position vehicles at the optimal level for any service task. Combined with premium double telescoping screw pads that adjust to multiple heights, the need for adapters is minimized, streamlining service procedures and saving valuable time.
Integrating the Powerunit & Controls Under the Bench
Due to the recent move to the DLH power units on the EW and EV Series inground lifts, the configuration for the cabinet door for bench mount levered controls will change. Please ensure that when using BML controls with ingrounds, the configuration change is noted.

The EV1020 is also available with a drive-on style pad (XP9) to aid in quick vehicle spotting—perfect for express bays and high-volume shops that demand speed and efficiency.

The EV1020 features enhanced raised wipers at both the top and bottom of the bearing, providing better grease retention and minimizing contamination from entering the bearings. This design improvement extends bearing life and reduces maintenance requirements. Combined with long bearing contact surfaces, the lift provides increased stability and smooth, consistent operation over years of heavy use.
The chrome non-breathing ram style cylinder further contributes to longevity by preventing contaminants from entering the hydraulic system, ensuring reliable performance in demanding shop environments.
The EV1020 is powered by a 2HP motor with 208v-230v single phase power requirement and a 30A circuit. The lift features a 38-second speed of rise for efficient operation, and requires 90-120 psi air pressure for the pneumatic lock release system.
The lift requires a ceiling height of 12 feet plus the height of the tallest vehicle to be serviced. The 97" overall width and 87" drive-thru clearance provide ample room for maneuvering, while the arm reach adjusts from a minimum of 19-5/8" to a maximum of 42-1/8", offering unmatched flexibility for positioning vehicles of varying sizes and wheelbases.
Each arm is rated for 2,500 lbs. capacity, and the screw pad height adjusts from 3-7/8" to 6-1/8" to accommodate different lift point requirements.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Challenger Lifts, Inc. (CLI) lifts are guaranteed to the original owner. CLI shall repair or replace, at CLI option, for the full warranty period those parts that prove upon inspection to be defective and pay for reasonable costs of transportation and/or labor for replacement of said parts for the warranty period stated below. This warranty shall not apply unless the product is installed, used and maintained according to CLI’s specifications set forth in CLI’s installation, operation, and maintenance instructions. Use of any unapproved parts or accessories will void your warranty. This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty is valid only if the product has been registered with Challenger Lifts, Inc., www.challengerlifts.com.
This warranty does not cover normal maintenance or adjustments, damage or malfunction caused by improper handling, installation, abuse, misuse, negligence, carelessness of operation, or normal wear and tear. In addition, this warranty does not cover equipment when repairs have been attempted or made by anyone other than a CLI authorized service representative.
This warranty is exclusive and is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, which implied warranties are expressly excluded. No employee, agent, representative, dealer or other person or entity is authorized to give any warranties of any nature on behalf of CLI.
The remedies described are exclusive and in no event shall CLI, Inc. be liable for special, consequential or incidental damages for the breach of or delay in performance of the warranty. This warranty shall be governed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the County of Jefferson.
Functional parts are considered the power units, cylinders, sheaves, sheave pins, hoses, hydraulic & pneumatic fittings, cables, adapters, latches, valves, and controls.
Structural parts are considered the carriage, columns, column extensions, overhead beams, arms, cross beams, runways, wheel stops, ramps, bolsters, sync rails, and plungers.
