The Atlas® 6PL 6,000 lb. capacity low rise lift is ideal for quick service work situations involving tire and brake work.The open center design of the 6PL low rise lift also allows easier access to the underside of any vehicle being lifted. The 6PL comes with non-slip pads that provide a great contact surface and a set of four high density rubber blocks that help protect lifting points on most vehicles.
Simply drive the car over the 6PL and position the rubber blocks (if needed) under the correct lifting points of the vehicle. Press the button on the unit and lift the vehicle to the desired work height. Depress the “dump valve lever” on the power unit and the lift lowers slightly to the next lower mechanical lock position.
Due to the horizontal cylinder configuration of the 6PL it is important to allow some space (2-6 inches) between the lifting surface of the lift and the vehicle's lifting points. Click here to read more.
