The Atlas BP8000 is the ultimate solution for professional shops and home garages with low ceiling clearance. This complete combo package pairs Atlas's premium 8,000 lb. capacity base-plate two-post lift with the versatile ATLMA Lawn Mower Adapter, transforming your shop into a multi-purpose lifting powerhouse. Whether you're servicing passenger vehicles, trucks, lawn equipment, golf carts, ATVs, or snowmobiles, this combo delivers exceptional value and unmatched flexibility at an outstanding price point of $5,199.00.
With a total column height of just 108" (9 feet), the BP8000 is specifically engineered for low-ceiling installations. If your shop has a ceiling as low as 9 feet 3 inches, this lift will fit—opening up professional-grade vehicle lifting capability in spaces where traditional lifts simply won't work. Combined with the ATLMA adapter, you gain the ability to lift a wide range of wheeled equipment with wheelbases from 32" to 90", making this combo an essential workhorse for diversified service operations.
The Atlas BP8000 features a robust base-plate design with super symmetric arms, providing stable, centered lifting for a wide variety of vehicles. The lift is equipped with dual hydraulic chain-drive cylinders—one cylinder mounted in each column—delivering smooth, synchronized lifting power. A convenient single-point lock release simplifies operation, while the double safety lock system and automatic arm restraints ensure maximum operator safety on every lift.
Built with 6mm thick steel throughout the columns, carriages, and arms, the BP8000 is engineered for durability and long-term reliability. Self-lubricating HMW polyethylene sliders and bronze bushings reduce friction and wear, while the professional powder coat finish protects against corrosion and delivers a clean, modern appearance. The lift includes a 12-piece truck adapter set (with 2", 3", and 6" sizes) and all necessary mounting hardware—everything you need to start lifting right away.
With an overall width of 132" (11 feet) and a drive-thru clearance of 99" (8 feet 3 inches), the BP8000 accommodates full-size vehicles while maintaining a compact footprint. Maximum lift height with adapters reaches 86.5", and 75.5" without adapters, providing ample working clearance for most service tasks. The lift's minimum arm height of just 4 inches allows you to engage low-profile vehicles with ease.
The ATLMA Lawn Mower Adapter transforms your BP8000 (or most other symmetric-arm two-post lifts) into a dedicated lawn mower lift, golf cart lift, snowmobile lift, ATV lift, or small sports car lift. This adapter eliminates the need to purchase expensive specialty lifts—giving you the flexibility to service a diverse range of equipment with a single, economical solution.
The ATLMA consists of two heavy-duty wheel platforms constructed from 3/16" thick steel. Each platform features a 12" wide wheel well and adjusts in width from 8 feet to 11 feet to accommodate various lift arm configurations. The wheelbase adjustment range of 32" to 90" allows infinite positioning options, so you can lift everything from compact zero-turn mowers to long-wheelbase utility vehicles with confidence and stability.
The adapter is designed to fit over symmetric lift arms up to 5 1/2" wide and ships at a weight of 600 lbs. When properly positioned, the ATLMA provides four-wheel support for equipment up to 5,000 lbs.—though actual lifting capacity varies depending on wheelbase length, weight distribution, and lift arm positioning. For optimal performance and safety, the adapter should be positioned with the heavier end of the vehicle closer to the vertical columns of the lift.
Please read the following before buying or using the Atlas® LMA:
The Atlas® LMA is designed to work well with most two-post above ground lifts with symmetric arms. However, there are many factors that will determine the safe weight capacity of the LMA on your specific lift. Understanding how weight capacity changes with adapter positioning is critical to safe operation.
Many above ground two-post lifts have been over-rated by certain distributors. Your 9,000 lb. or 10,000 lb. two-post may actually be only an 8,000 lb. lift in reality. For the purpose of illustration, let's assume you have a true 8,000 lb. two-post lift.
This 8,000 lb. capacity translates into an important fact about two-post lifts: an 8,000 lb. two-post lift has four lift arms that are capable of lifting and safely supporting 2,000 lbs. each. If you are lifting an 8,000 lb. vehicle, the weight needs to be evenly distributed across all four lifting points. This same principle applies when using the Atlas® LMA as an accessory on your lift—you must distribute the weight as evenly as possible.
First, consider the weight of the LMA (600 lbs.) and deduct it from the lifting capacity of your lift. Your 8,000 lb. lift (with a properly positioned LMA) now has a new lifting capacity of 7,400 lbs.
The closer the LMA plates are positioned to the vertical columns, the greater the lifting capacity. As the adapter plates are moved farther apart (toward the lift pads), the lifting capacity is reduced. We recommend the following capacity guidelines:
If you are lifting a mower or other vehicle that is extremely heavy on one end, position the LMA plate supporting the heavier end closer to the vertical column, and extend the opposite plate (supporting the lighter end) further out on the lift arm to accommodate the necessary wheelbase. This balances the load and maximizes safety.
⚠️ Important Capacity Notes:
LMA consists of two wheel platforms. Direct lift HR800 shown is not included.
The Atlas BP8000 requires 220V single-phase power with a 30 amp breaker. The lift weighs 1,290 lbs. and requires a minimum of 4 inches of concrete with 3,000 psi for proper anchoring. The hydraulic system requires 3-5 gallons of AW32/AW46 hydraulic oil.
All installation manuals are included, and our AI assistant is available to help you navigate the installation process step-by-step. Don't forget to perform the 2-post cylinder bleeding procedure immediately after installation to ensure optimal lift performance.
