The Atlas® RJ8A rolling bridge jack has been purpose-built to work seamlessly with your existing four-post or scissor lift equipment. Its telescoping arms can be extended precisely over the runways of your lift, positioning the lift pads directly under the factory lifting points of virtually any vehicle—even when those points sit above the runways.
This jack is equipped with expandable rail supports that feature a unique roller system designed to glide smoothly and effortlessly under the entire length of the vehicle. These rail supports adjust to fit between the runways of many different styles and brands of lifts, including the Atlas PX16A scissor alignment lift, as well as the Atlas 412, 412A, 414, and 414A four-post lifts. This adaptability makes the RJ8A a versatile addition to multi-bay shops with varied equipment.
The RJ8A comes standard with a complete set of peg-style truck adapters, including both 2.5" and 5" heights. These adapters significantly increase the lifting height of the jack's lift pads, enabling you to safely raise most pickup trucks and larger vehicles that sit higher than the average passenger car.
Each arm features a 1.5" diameter arm hole designed to accept the adapter pegs securely. This thoughtful design ensures that you have the flexibility to service everything from compact sedans to full-size trucks without needing to purchase additional accessories.
Safety is paramount when working beneath a suspended vehicle. The RJ8A rolling hydraulic jack features two solid locking positions that engage when the vehicle is to be suspended above the runways. When these locks are engaged, hydraulic pressure from the lifting cylinder is completely eliminated—acting much like a pair of jack stands after you lift a vehicle off the ground with a service jack.
This redundant safety system provides peace of mind and allows technicians to work confidently beneath the vehicle, knowing that the load is mechanically secured, not just hydraulically supported.
The RJ8A operates on air/hydraulic power, combining the speed and convenience of air operation with the smooth, controlled lifting power of hydraulics. The jack is designed and engineered to operate on delivered air pressure between 70-115 PSI.
IMPORTANT: An external air supply is required to operate this jack (NOT INCLUDED). Do not exceed 115 PSI—exceeding this pressure may damage your jack and void your warranty. Ensure your shop air supply is properly regulated before use.
