Chicago Pneumatic CPXHT-25 5hp High Temp Refrigerated Dryer
The Chicago Pneumatic CPXHT-125 is an all-in-one compressed air solution designed specifically for high-temperature applications. With a maximum inlet temperature of 180°F, this refrigerated dryer eliminates the need for a separate aftercooler, saving you space, installation time, and cost. Engineered to deliver 125 CFM of clean, dry compressed air for 25 HP compressors, the CPXHT-125 integrates multiple critical components into one compact, efficient unit. From the air-cooled aftercooler to the moisture separator, electronic water drain, and 3-micron coalescing filter, every element works together to remove dirt, oil, and moisture—protecting your tools, pneumatic equipment, and finished products from contamination.
Designed for ease of use, the CPXHT-125 arrives ready to install with a compact footprint (23" x 18" x 31") that fits into tight workspaces. Operating on standard 115V single-phase power with a six-foot power cord included, there's no need for expensive electrical upgrades or special wiring. Whether you're running a busy auto body shop, manufacturing facility, or industrial operation where hot compressed air is a reality, this dryer delivers reliable performance and consistent 50°F dew point to keep your air system running smoothly.
The Chicago Pneumatic CPXHT-125 isn't just a dryer—it's a complete air treatment system. The integrated inlet strainer precooler/reheater starts the process by reducing air temperature and filtering out large particles before the air enters the refrigeration circuit. The stainless steel and copper heat exchanger efficiently cools the compressed air to condense moisture, which is then removed by the moisture separator and evacuated via the automatic drain valve. No manual draining, no monitoring—just set it and forget it.
After moisture removal, the air passes through a 3-micron coalescing filter that captures oil aerosols and fine particulates, ensuring your downstream equipment receives clean, dry air. The reheater then brings the air temperature back up slightly to prevent condensation in your lines. An ambient air condenser filter keeps the refrigeration system running efficiently by preventing dust and debris from clogging the condenser coils. This multi-stage process delivers a consistent 50°F dew point (±2°F), protecting your tools, paint finishes, and pneumatic systems from water damage and contamination.
Many refrigerated dryers struggle or fail when faced with inlet temperatures above 100°F. The CPXHT-125 is purpose-built for high-heat applications, handling inlet temperatures up to 180°F without breaking a sweat. This makes it ideal for use with rotary screw compressors, piston compressors running in hot climates, or any installation where an aftercooler isn't practical or desirable.
Operating across a wide ambient temperature range—from 34°F to 95°F—this dryer performs reliably in both climate-controlled shops and fluctuating environmental conditions. With a maximum operating pressure of 232 PSIG and 1" NPT inlet/outlet connections, it's designed to integrate seamlessly with industrial compressed air systems. At just 3/4 kW operating power, the CPXHT-125 is also energy-efficient, keeping your operating costs low while delivering professional-grade air treatment.
