The Atlas® ST-7000 Super Tall 4 Post Lift is engineered specifically for automotive enthusiasts and professionals with tall garage or shop ceilings who need to maximize their vertical storage space. With an extraordinary lifting height reaching over 12 feet (142 inches clearance under the runways), this lift enables you to park standard-height vehicles on top while storing taller trucks, SUVs, or vans safely underneath—doubling your garage capacity without compromising accessibility.
Built to handle vehicles weighing up to 7,000 lbs, the ST-7000 features the same heavy-duty commercial-grade runways found on the Atlas® GP-9000, complete with welded jack tracks to accommodate professional rolling center jacks from Greg Smith Equipment. Whether you're a collector storing multiple vehicles, a professional shop maximizing workspace, or simply looking to reclaim valuable floor space, the ST-7000 delivers unmatched vertical reach with proven Atlas® reliability.
This super tall four post storage lift is equipped with a sophisticated Lock Ladder Design that provides 21 locking positions with adjustable positioning during installation—giving you nearly infinite runway height configurations to accommodate any vehicle combination. The advanced Single Point Pneumatic Lock Release system ensures secure, two-handed operation for maximum safety, while the Emergency Slack Cable Secondary Lock System remains on standby 24/7, automatically engaging if cables become compromised or too slack.
Perfect For:
Car collectors with tall ceilings • Professional shops maximizing workspace • Enthusiasts storing trucks and cars together • Facilities with 13'6" ceiling height or greater
The ST-7000 is built with the same engineering excellence that has made Atlas® Automotive Equipment an industry leader. The lift's columns stand 162 inches (13'6") tall, allowing the runways to reach a maximum height of 147 inches to the top of the runway. This provides an impressive 142 inches of clearance under the runways—enough space to comfortably park full-size trucks, large SUVs, or commercial vans underneath the lifted vehicle.
The reinforced runways measure 194 inches (16'2") in length with a 21-inch width (20-inch driving surface) and substantial 4 3/4-inch thickness for maximum strength and stability. The lift accommodates vehicles with wheelbases up to 182 inches (15'2") and provides a drive-through width of 82 ½ inches (outside tire to outside tire), which is adjustable by 7 ½ inches to fit various vehicle track widths.
Installation requires permanent mounting to the floor with anchor bolts (included). The lift is powered by a 220V / 1 phase motor requiring a 30 amp breaker and uses 6 gallons of AW32/AW46 hydraulic oil (not included). Compressed air is required for the pneumatic lock release system (air supply not included). The overall width with motor installed is 123 inches (10'3"), while the width without motor is 110 ½ inches (9'2 ½").
The Lock Ladder Design is a standout feature of the ST-7000, providing exceptional flexibility in runway positioning. With 21 standard locking positions ranging from 23 inches to 142 ½ inches of clearance under the runway (±2"), you have precise control over lift height. The lock ladder is adjustable inside the column during installation, enabling you to "micro-manage" the exact runway height needed to accommodate any vehicle combination in your collection.
Locking positions are strategically spaced approximately every 6 inches throughout the lifting range, giving you the flexibility to optimize space for specific vehicle pairings—whether you're storing a low-profile sports car over a lifted pickup truck or stacking two SUVs of different heights.
Safety is paramount in the Atlas® ST-7000 design. The Single Point Pneumatic Lock Release system provides intuitive, secure operation. Located conveniently next to the power unit, a single point release toggle automatically unlocks all four spring-loaded pneumatic locks. The system requires a deliberate two-hand operation: both the lock toggle and the power unit dump valve must be activated simultaneously to release the locks and lower the lift.
If you release the lock toggle while still pressing the dump valve button, the lift will continue to descend and all locks will automatically re-engage at the next lower lock point—providing multiple layers of safety during operation. This intelligent design prevents accidental drops and ensures controlled, predictable lowering.
The Double Lock Safety System serves as a critical backup. This emergency secondary locking mechanism is designed to remain vigilant at all times. If a lifting cable becomes slack for any reason—whether from mechanical failure, wear, or unforeseen circumstances—the secondary locking mechanism automatically engages, preventing the lift from descending unexpectedly. This redundant safety feature provides peace of mind when storing valuable vehicles at extreme heights.
Installation Requirements:
Must be bolted to the ground with anchor bolts (included). Requires 220V / 1 phase / 30 amp electrical service and compressed air for pneumatic lock release. 6 gallons of AW32/AW46 hydraulic oil required (not included). Minimum ceiling height: 13'6".
Your Atlas® ST-7000 lift comes complete with everything needed for installation:
