The Challenger CL20 doesn't compromise on strength or durability. With a 20,000 lb lifting capacity and 5,000 lb maximum load per arm, this lift handles the heaviest vehicles in modern fleets with confidence. The 2-stage front and rear arms provide an impressive reach range from 38.5" minimum to 62" maximum, allowing you to position lift points precisely on a wide variety of vehicle types and wheelbases.
At the heart of the lift's reliability is an oversized 5-inch diameter steel pulley paired with heavy-duty 3/8" aircraft-grade cable. This robust equalization system reduces stress on the cable and pulley assembly, significantly increasing component life and minimizing maintenance. The 60-inch lifting carriage design further enhances durability by distributing loads more evenly across the lift structure, extending the service life of the entire system.
Powered by a 3HP single-phase motor (208/230V), the CL20 reaches full rise in approximately 62 seconds, optimizing workflow without sacrificing smooth, controlled operation. Optional 3-phase electrical configurations are available at the time of order for shops with 3-phase power infrastructure. The lift requires 90-120 psi air supply for its pneumatic lock release system, ensuring fast and reliable engagement.
Unmatched Installation Flexibility
One of the most impressive features of the Challenger CL20 is its adaptability to nearly any shop environment. The lift is available in three overall height configurations: 162", 168", or 174" for standard height applications, or 186", 192", or 198" for extended height installations (CL20-2 model). This means you can select the perfect height to match your facility's ceiling clearance while maximizing rise height for technician access.
Width flexibility is equally impressive. The CL20 offers three width options: 166.75" standard width, 160.75" narrow (-6"), or 154.75" extra-narrow (-12"). The between-columns measurement adjusts accordingly to 132", 126", or 120", while maintaining generous drive-thru clearance of 116.25", 110.25", or 104.25" respectively. This versatility allows the lift to fit into existing bays without costly modifications or wasted space.
The symmetric lifting configuration provides balanced vehicle positioning and allows easy access to the vehicle's interior from both sides. The adjustable width design means you can fine-tune arm positioning for optimal support on different vehicle types, from narrow sports cars to wide commercial trucks.

Dual integrated rubber door guards protect vehicle doors from accidental contact with lift columns during loading and unloading. Heavy-duty rubber screw pads accommodate a wide range of OEM-recommended vehicle lifting points, ensuring secure contact without damaging pinch welds or frame rails. The lift includes 4" and 8" stack adapters that allow you to reach higher lift points on trucks and SUVs, with maximum rise heights (with adapters) reaching up to 84.6".
Screw pad height is adjustable from 6.2" minimum to 7.6" maximum, providing flexibility for different vehicle ground clearances. The lift also includes organizer racks with hardware to keep adapters and accessories neatly stored and within easy reach.

CLI shall repair or replace, at CLI option, for the full warranty period those parts that prove upon inspection to be defective and pay for reasonable costs of transportation and/or labor for replacement of said parts for the warranty period stated below. This warranty shall not apply unless the product is installed, used and maintained according to CLI’s specifications set forth in CLI’s installation, operation, and maintenance instructions. Use of any unapproved parts or accessories will void your warranty. This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty is valid only if the product has been registered with Challenger Lifts, Inc., www.challengerlifts.com.
This warranty does not cover normal maintenance or adjustments, damage or malfunction caused by improper handling, installation,
abuse, misuse, negligence, carelessness of operation, or normal wear and tear. In addition, this warranty does not cover equipment when
repairs have been attempted or made by anyone other than a CLI authorized service representative.
This warranty is exclusive and is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, which implied warranties are expressly excluded. No employee, agent, representative, dealer or other person or entity is
authorized to give any warranties of any nature on behalf of CLI.
The remedies described are exclusive and in no event shall CLI, Inc. be liable for special, consequential or incidental damages for the breach of or delay in performance of the warranty. This warranty shall be governed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the County of Jefferson.
