Constructed with 6mm thick steel columns measuring 7" x 10 1/4", the PVL10 is built to handle the toughest workloads. The 15" x 18" base footprint ensures exceptional stability, while the higher quality powder coating provides long-lasting protection against wear, corrosion, and the rigors of daily use in a professional automotive environment.
Premium Components and Professional-Grade Features
At the heart of the PVL10 is the ALLY Hydraulic AL2850 Power Unit, a premium hydraulic system certified by MET Laboratories Inc. for electrical compliance in both the United States and Canada. This industry-leading power unit features extra heavy-duty armatures and enhanced motor windings with increased silver metal content in the wires and connections, which drastically reduces heat generation and maintains constant torque throughout the entire lifting process. Unlike lower-grade power units that struggle under load, the AL2850 delivers smooth, consistent performance lift after lift—and is backed by an industry-leading two-year limited warranty.
The lift is equipped with padded carriages and rubber column guards to protect vehicles from scratches and damage during lifting operations. A professional-grade arm lock restraint system with single point lock release ensures fast, safe operation, while the double screw rubber/metal adapters with included truck height extensions accommodate a wide range of vehicle types and lifting points.
The PVL10 lifts to a maximum height of 81 1/2" with adapters or 72 1/2" without adapters, with a minimum arm height of just 4 inches, allowing you to work on low-clearance vehicles with ease. The lift offers generous drive-thru clearance of 91" in asymmetric mode and 99 1/2" in symmetric mode, making vehicle positioning simple and efficient.

This model includes the AP-Z23A-00H1 Height Extension Kit (supersedes ATTDP-APEX10H-STD-EXT-KIT), which adds 2 feet of height to the overall lift structure. The kit includes column extensions, longer hydraulic hoses, and longer cables—everything you need to transform your PVL10 into a taller configuration ideal for shops working on trucks, vans, and vehicles with aftermarket lift kits or oversized tires.
With the extension kit installed, the lift reaches an overall height of 163 7/8" (13' 7 7/8"), with cylinders extending to 12' 4", providing the clearance you need for a wide variety of service tasks. The adjustable height design means you can configure the lift to match your facility's ceiling height and workflow requirements.

Installation Insights
Installing the Atlas Platinum PVL10 is straightforward with the right tools and preparation. The lift requires a minimum of 4 inches of concrete with 3000 psi for proper anchoring. Electrical requirements are 2 HP 220V single phase with a 30 amp breaker. You'll also need 3-5 gallons of AW32 or AW46 hydraulic oil (not included). With a shipping weight of approximately 2,000-2,100 lbs, the lift ships in manageable components for easier handling.
