With the advancement of modern R-1234yf air conditioning systems requiring new compatibility requirements for fluorescent leak detection, Tracer Products rose to the task of coming up with this kit. Included with the kit is the OPTI-PRO™ UV flashlight, 3 0.25 oz (7 ml) cartridges of Mini-EZ™ R-1234yf/PAG single-dose A/C dye (servicing up to 3 vehicles), Tracer Products’ EZ-Ject™ dye injector assembly, and R-1234yf hose/coupler & purge fitting, and a 2 oz (60 ml) spray bottle of GLO-AWAY™ Plus fluorescent dye cleaner. OEM-Grade Tracerline® R-1234yf dyes are completely compatible and perfect for diagnosing the latest A/C systems.

The OPTI-PRO™ UV flashlight is Tracer Products’ cordless violet LED flashlight used for the purpose of detecting leaks with ease. It comes complete with an adjustable focus lens to identify leaks. Each flashlight includes 3 AAA batteries and a pair of fluorescence-enhancing glasses. With its powerful beam producing a range of up to 20 feet (6 meters), each OPTI-PRO™ UV comes with a total run-time of 4 hours.

With the adjustable focus lens, the end-user can use the OPTI-PRO™ UV to reduce bright reflections while undertaking automotive leak detection. By narrowing the focus, the flashlight creates a powerful, directed beam of light and fluoresces the smallest leaks. The end-user can also expand the focus for wider scans and detecting multiple leaks across the whole engine compartment.
