This professional Atlas® TCWB-COMBO5 tire service combo delivers everything you need to change and balance tires with precision and efficiency. Featuring the TC229 rim-clamp swing arm tire changer with bead blaster and the WB41 computerized wheel balancer, this combination package provides exceptional value for farms, homeowners, independent garages, and professional tire shops of all sizes. Both machines operate on standard 110V power, require no complex installation, and are backed by CE approval and the Atlas® 1-year parts warranty. Whether you're servicing passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, or ATVs, this combo gives you professional-grade capability at an accessible price point.
The Atlas® TC229 is a versatile wheel clamp tire changer designed to handle a wide range of tire service tasks with ease. This swing arm changer features 3-position clamping jaws that allow you to work on everything from small ATV wheels to large 39-inch diameter tires. The adjustable jaw positions provide flexibility: outside clamping ranges from 9¾" to 23¼" and inside clamping from 11ⅅ" to 25¼" across the three settings. When equipped with the included flip adapters, you can configure the machine for ATV service (down to 2⅞" wheels) or motorcycle applications (up to 26⅜").
What sets the TC229 apart is its integrated bead blaster system. This powerful feature delivers a burst of compressed air to help seat stubborn beads on stiff sidewall tires, low-profile performance tires, and other "hard to inflate" applications. Combined with the pneumatic bead breaker delivering 5,500 lbs of force and a robust turntable with 885 ft/lbs rotating torque, this machine makes quick work of challenging tire changes. The TC229 handles steel, aluminum, and alloy rims and includes convenient features like a tire inflator, soap reservoir, and oiler/filter/regulator for smooth operation.
The machine operates on 90-110 PSI air pressure (maximum inlet pressure not to exceed 140 PSI) and requires a standard 110V 1-phase electrical connection. Four black plastic rim protectors are included to safeguard expensive wheels during service. Whether you're currently servicing standard passenger vehicles or plan to expand into larger SUV, pickup truck, or agricultural applications in the future, the TC229 provides the capability and durability you need. For shops regularly handling very large truck tires or agricultural equipment, the Atlas® TC289 offers even greater capacity.
The Atlas® WB41 wheel balancer combines sophisticated balancing technology with refreshing simplicity. This computerized balancer is engineered to be both highly accurate and remarkably easy to operate and maintain. Featuring a 40mm shaft and accommodating rim diameters from 10" to 32" with widths from 1½" to 20", the WB41 handles passenger cars and light trucks up to 39-inch tire diameter and 165 lbs maximum wheel weight. Unlike many balancers that simply claim high weight capacity, the WB41 is specifically designed to accurately balance heavy wheel assemblies, not just support them.
Precision is paramount with 1-gram accuracy and 1.4° weight position resolution at a fast 150 RPM balancing speed. The WB41 features self-calibration and self-diagnosis capabilities, displaying error codes so you can quickly identify and resolve issues in your own shop without waiting for expensive service technicians. Every major electrical component is designed with a "plug and play" architecture, making repairs straightforward and cost-effective when maintenance is eventually needed.
Operator convenience is built into every detail. The higher, easy-to-read display shows measurements in your choice of standard or metric units (grams/ounces, mm/inches). An automatic positioning indicator tells you exactly where to apply weights, while the automatic and pedal-operated brake system offers precise control. The balancer features automatic start/stop when the hood is lowered or raised, and it supports both static and dynamic balancing modes with rapid optimization (OPT) for faster service cycles. A large weight tray keeps your workspace organized, and exceptional stability ensures consistent, reliable unbalance readings between planes.
Powered by a ¼ HP motor running on 110V 1-phase power, the WB41 requires no anchor-down installation—simply plug it in and start balancing. Optional truck adapter sets are available for expanded capability. This balancer is the ideal choice for professional tire shops seeking accuracy, reliability, and ease of maintenance in a single package.
