DO NOT USE abrasives containing more than 1% crystalline (free) silica. Refer to NIOSH Alert #92-102. Abrasive blasting can generate hazardous airborne dust. Inhalation of crystalline silica, asbestos, lead paint dust, and other toxic contaminants can cause serious or fatal disease. Always follow applicable safety requirements and use appropriate respiratory, eye, face, hearing, and protective equipment for the blasting application.
