Tire changers are great additions to any shop, making the process of removing them from wheels much simpler. Whether you need one for a home garage for motorcycles or larger ones for massive tractor tires, Atlas® Automotive Equipment manufactures an assortment of them. If you own a small commercial garage, the TC221 and TC229 are the perfect size. These wheel clamp swing arm tire changers can gently handle both steel and alloy wheels without scratching them up. The bead breaker will take all the work out of getting it to break by hand, making the job easier and more efficient. The turntable jaws can be moved to three positions to get the right clamping range you need. The TC229 is identical to the TC221 aside from the additional bead blaster system. This helps inflate stiff sidewall tires. We recommend this model if you will change large tires in the future (like those for trucks and SUVs).
The rest of our Atlas® tire changer inventory features options that aren't so identical. For general use in auto shops and tire stores, the TC289 will get the job done. It's versatile in that it can be fitted with the LH assist arm, RH assist arm, Atlas® DAA arm assembly. Great for SUVs and trucks up to one ton, this tire changer features the bead blast system, inflator hose adaptor, and pressure gauge. Own a professional tire store or large dealership? Choose the TC755, which is a tilt-back tire changer that can clamp most 26-inch chrome rims. For large trucks with tire diameters of 55 inches or more, the TTC201 and TTC305 can handle the heavy-duty nature of these. What about off-roading tires and agricultural vehicles like tractors? Atlas® has that covered, too, with the TTC303 and TTC306 tire changers. With these, you can trust these will clamp on tightly without causing damage.
