Even though the CB-28 is equipped with a whopping 80-gallon auto-refilling reservoir, because of its abundant water-holding size, it can literally run for hours without the need for refilling, just in case you’re using it where no garden hose is available. Cool Boss evaporative air coolers provide instant comfort solutions by using water evaporation to reduce surrounding temperatures without consuming large amounts of energy. This eco-friendly technology allows you to instantly chill areas at a fraction of the cost of traditional air-cooling methods. The Cool Boss CB-28 is equipped with four Honeycool™ evaporative media pads that act like a sponge and soak up water, kind of like a pre-chiller for the incoming air.

The resin-covered honeycomb allows air to pass through which results in evaporation. This phase transition of liquid water to water vapor turns hot stuffy air into fresh cool awesomeness. Variable fan speeds along with the Blue Flex™ axial-flow fan and water-flow controls allow you to precisely deliver just how much cool air you need. The axial-flow design and flexing nature of the fan blades pull more air at idle while reducing engine drag at high RPM’s for peak performance and cost-saving efficiency.

Fill Cap
If you don’t want your cooler to be hooked up to a garden hose you can manually fill the reservoir by accessing the fill cap located on the front of your Cool Boss.

Water Level Indicator
Easily check the water level of your air cooler with the indicator located under the axial-flow fan. Blue Flex™ Axial-Flow Fan The axial-flow design and flexing nature of the fan blades pull more air at idle, while reducing engine drag at high rpm’s for peak performance and cost-saving efficiency.

Venturi Fan Cone
The COOLBLAST SERIES is equipped with a directional venturi fan cone design that concentrates the air velocity as it passes through, creating a more powerful and directional blast of chilled air.

LED Floodlight

GFCI Plug A GFCI plug precisely monitors the balance of an electrical current moving through a circuit and is designed to shut off electric power in the event of a ground fault.
