The first component in the Atlas Platinum tire changer combo, the Atlas Platinum tire changer, can be ordered in either the PTC300 or the PTC500 model, depending on your shop's needs. These machines can clamp wheels up to 26 and 30 inches in diameter (respectively) without damaging the rim or the tire. They come with a left-hand bead press arm and a lifting assist arm to aid in changing large and difficult tires. The integrated bead blast system makes dealing with stubborn beads a breeze. The tire changer runs on 110-volt electricity and features a high-torque electric turntable.
The second component in the Atlas Platinum wheel balancer combo is the Atlas Platinum wheel balancer. This machine is available in the PWB50 and PWB90XL models. These high-efficiency and intuitive machines feature an easy-to-read LED display screen that will communicate adjustments that need to be made to the wheel. Either 2D or 3D data entry is possible (respectively) via a singular data entry gauge, which will feed the machine data on the wheel's diameter, offset, and rim width. The machine will self-diagnose imbalances in the wheel and automatically direct the user to where to place the weights in order to correct the problem.
